So if Teviron worked for me, did it work for my daughter?

Yes and no. If she would follow my instructions to the T it would help her but she hasn’t been till recently 🙁 But ever since she started obeying more of my instructions her condition has improved.

Since her main patch is on the neck it has been harder to resolve. Remember I mentioned in my previous post that Teviron does not help when one is itchy due to heat and sweat? Well, that is the main issue hindering her rate of healing. She needs to keep cool.

We started with the Clean Cloth ($40 for a pack of 2) on her neck area. This was used day and night. Then I bought for her Inner Toe Socks ($55 for two pairs), Classic Black Gloves ($45 for one pair) and Arm Protector ($65 for one pair). Her neck and body would be wrapped with the Multi Purpose Warm Series ($145 for 2 pcs). All these were worn at night.

But for better results and coverage I bought the Children’s Long Sleeve Undershirt ($160) and Children’s Long Underpants ($185) to use as Pajamas. In the daytime I make her wear the Children’s Sleeveless Undershirt ($145) under her normal clothes. She still uses the Clean Cloth on her neck and the Arm Protector as and when necessary.

I was initially very concerned that all the pieces together will make her hot and sweaty. Interestingly it didn’t in the daytime but it did in the nighttime! So for nights, I had to turn on the aircon for her especially when it is a warm night. In fact there are many nights where she would complain that she was hot when it was a very cool night. 🙁

Her skin condition has improved. Her skin looks like skin that has been healed/is healing from steroid use – smooth and shiny and a bit tight (hence requiring lots of moisturising). But we have not used any steroid (oral or topical) on her for a long time – thank you, Lord!

I must warn you that Teviron is rather powerful if one is ill internally. She threw up violently the first time she wore the Pajama combination. The die-off effect was most miserable. It lasted about 5 days before she felt “normal”. She would have nights where she would wake up scratching herself silly and insisting that she was burning up. Seeing her suffer like that I can see that all those oral and topical steroids and antihistamines have taken its toll on her body and they all needed to be purged.

Teviron For My Husband and Son

Lynda had said that after wearing the clothing AND sleeping on the Teviron bedsheet and quilt cover/blanket for just one week, she no longer suffers from low blood pressure and fatigue. She is able to wake up feeling refreshed and alert.

So I decided to try a Men’s short-sleeved top and long pants for my husband. He suffered from congested sinuses and frequently would need to blow his nose repeatedly or take Zyrtec to clear it. Ever since he wore it, he had no such problems!

So after one week of trial, I made my oldest boy try it 😀 Again it had the same immediate effect of clearing up his sinuses despite him gorging himself with wheat and dairy products. Before wearing the Teviron clothing, he would wake up every morning and blow his nose violently. But so far with the clothing he hasn’t!

Interestingly, on the first night that my husband did not wear the Teviron outfit to sleep, he had restless legs syndrome – something that would hit him on and off! The boy also felt like throwing up the first night he wore the clothing. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?

All in all, Teviron clothing has worked for us in varying degrees. Will we have more healing after wearing it for a longer period of time? I am sure we will. Will we heal better if we get the full set – bedsheet and blanket and all? Again, I am sure we will but not now 😀 Have you seen the prices???

That is actually the main reason I hesitate to recommend it – the prices! $200 for a top??? $100+ for a child’s top??? And almost $1000 for the bedsheet! I am also not sure it will work for someone who is not controlling their diet. (See below). But it is really worth it if it works for you as it did for us. Imagine not having to do much except wear the clothing and sleep on it! Easy-peasy. And it is supposed to last for a l-o-n-g time. No need to keep replacing it. And of course if you sign up to be a member you get to enjoy special prices and can even earn commission!

Not a Miracle Cure

But Teviron is not a miracle cure. For us, we still need to adhere to the GAPS Diet. GAPS heals from the inside, Teviron heals from the outside. For us, this combination works. If I cheat (and I have!!! ;( ) the itching, peeling and inflammation comes right back! And Teviron does not get rid of yeast. So if you are craving sweets and carbs, you are better off adhering to the anti-candida version of the GAPS diet.

* Please note that I do not earn anything from this write up in anyway. I just want to share what we have experienced when using this product. I am just very grateful that God sent this to us at our point of need. And if it can help those with eczema, especially children with eczema, I will be very happy because eczema is truly an awful disease. The itch can drive one mad! And taking all those medication – topical and oral – to control it is really not the long term solution. Seeing the die off effects on dd makes me want to avoid ALL medication if that is possible! She had so much to purge! 🙁

10 Comments on Teviron for Eczema?

  1. Hi Serene
Would like to check with you how your son and DH’s sinus is coming along after wearing the clothes. I am keen to let my son with sinus try it if it is effective. What did you buy for him?
    Thanks Alice

    • Alice – only my dh is wearing it. My son only borrowed it for about 1 week 🙂 Dh will still have an attack of congested/running nose if the triggers are too intense. Eg. the lovely cement dust from the LUP. But generally his nose has been clear so far. But he also watches his diet. So I am not sure if one would have any effect if the triggers are not removed. Dh just wore the inner shirt (short sleeved) and the long pants.

  2. Thanks Serene. My son has sinus triggered supposedly by bed bugs. He is using he nasal spray currently but if there is a natural way to get rid of it I would like to try. we have not tested him for food allergy as yet…but will be doing so in Jun. Is your DH and son allergies due to food?
hang in there on your allergy fight!
    Alice

    • Bed bugs?! His bed has bugs and he hasn’t been bitten? I think you mean dust mites? For that we invested in a Rainbow vacuum cleaner and vacuum the mattresses every month – supposed to do it once a week but I can’t slot that in 🙁 Our allergies are food as well as environmental.

  3. ooops you are right. its dust mites. we had bed bugs once when we inherited some children bedding fr a cousin. Dust mites is alot more difficult to get rid off. Did your son conditin improve during the 1 week trial? sorry to probe but why are u not continuing? teviron is expensive and like u i am skeptical of mlm product. thanks for your kindness.

    • Yes, ds’ condition improved in that one week trial but not continuing with ds coz his case isn’t very severe and he doesn’t really like wearing it. He is afterall 14 🙂

To me itis clear that the product “works” but it is not a cure all and if you do not remove the triggers (dust/food) the condition will remain.

  4. Hi Serene
If Teviron’s made from a type of plastic (PVC or Chlorinated Polyethylene, depending on who you ask…), does this make it unsafe for your children given that both PVC and CPE are known carcinogens and development toxicants?

    • Sorry for the delay. Read your question off my phone but I didn’t get on to the computer till now. I asked my friend and this is what she said, “It is a different type of plastic that isn’t harmful to humans.” Hmm…thanks for pointing this out to me. I actually didn’t even know it’s made of PVC! Argh! It really helps to soothe my skin. How now?!
