It is tough being a parent in today’s fast moving world, with society often challenging, instead of supporting, parental rights. As Christians, we are to shine as beacons of hope but most of the times we too become overwhelmed by the pressures that surrounds us.
In response to this increasing pressure, my dear husband, Reverend Henson, will be bringing a talk at Wesley Methodist Church on August 18, 2012 (Saturday) entitled, Raising Christian Families in Today’s World*. Details can be found below :
Come and listen to him share biblical principals that can help us navigate parenthood a little more confidently, with God’s Word as our foundation. If you can make it to attend, please do. Better still if both husband and wife can come. It isn’t positioned as a parenting talk, but a talk to and with parents. Feel free to share this seminar with others from your Christian community. It’d be a wonderful time of interaction, learning from one another and being made aware of the challenges that surround the Christian family in these perilous times.
