When you have a large family or a family with young children, menu planning is a lifesaver. While I highly recommend menu planning, I do NOT like menu planning at all. Honestly, I find it a pain to sit down and write out what we are going to eat a whole week in advance. Yet I do it week after week because I like the results of menu planning.
