Here are some information on each of our homeschooling parent speakers:

Audrey Teo is a former primary school teacher who has been homeschooling her 3 children, 12, 10 & 5, for the past 2 years. She believes that homeschooling is actually extended parenting. Despite the word “homeschooling”, the family is hardly at home and has to make an effort to do so.

Serene Lim is mother to 7 children, aged almost 18 to almost 7. She has been homeschooling since September 2004. Homeschooling was not what she had expected to do with her children but she did it out of obedience to God’s call. Serene believes that homeschooling need not to be as complicated as many think it is. More information about Serene and her homeschooling experiences can be found at BuildingUpMoms.Wordpress.com

Dawn Fung is a folksinger and homeschools her two girls, 8 & 6. She is an advocate for homeschool in Singapore, especially the preschool years. She oversees Homeschool Singapore, a vibrant community of homeschoolers and its website, homeschoolsingapore.sg

The panel will cover topics such as:

  • How to manage/educate/enjoy homeschooling children of varying ages (esp during the preschool early primary years),
  • What has been your biggest challenges or fears when starting out – a Christian perspective on why she has chosen to homeschool
  • As a homeschool parent how will you prepare for PSLE?

Register HERE and see you there!
