I surrender.

I absolutely have no mood to do anything work-related. I did manage to force myself to clear 2-days’ worth of schoolwork yesterday. But that seemed to have wiped me out. Lol!

2 days ago I managed to take the baby’s clothes and my post partum clothes out of the storage bags and threw them into the washing machine. They are all dried and ready to be packed away….soon I guess.

The curtains have been washed and re-hung up though 🙂

The heat is getting to me again. It is triggering an outbreak of heat rash on my neck which is making me grumpier than I already am!

And I have developed a sudden craving for chocolate milk! Oh man! I can just imagine the amount of weight I have put on! The other thing is that drinking it makes me bloated so why do I crave it?!

But I did find out something though. Being miserable in the 3rd trimester is rather common. I googled and found lots of women grumbling about the same things as I am! Now that makes me happier! 🙂

Bringing the kids down to the playground for want of something to do since dh is away this weekend and I just need to get out of the house, even if it is for 30minutes!

  1. The heat is not just affecting you. It has been hot, warm and humid these few days. If it makes we, not pregnant people terrible, I’m sure it is many fold worse for you.

    hubby not around?!!?!?!

  2. Hi Serene, hv been following yr blog since I saw it in AP forum. I’m now 33 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd pregnancy. You are not alone in the heat wave. It’s been affecting me real bad that I can’t even get to sleep in the night coz I kept perspiring!!

  3. Hi Serene,

I am a 1st time mother that is due the same time as you!

Yeah, I’m in the same lazy mood as you are in now. Lazy to go to work, tidy up the baby’s room, complete the knitting projects, etc…

But it’s still exciting waiting for my baby to come out.

    God bless!
